Step back to a time when the Philipse family owned most of Westchester County and enslaved Africans and European tenant farmers worked this commercial plantation. Kids play the role of merchant while they learn about colonial era commerce, examine food production and horticulture, assist the miller, and fi nd out about heritage-breed farm animals. Churning butter, making stone soup, and fishing in the Pocantico River make this a special week of camp.
All camps are run and taught by experienced educators and class room teachers.
· Parents provide round-trip transportation and a bag lunch.
· Admission is $300 per week; $280 for multiple weeks ($240 for HHV Members)
· All materials and snacks are included.
