Feiner: Company Doing Greenburgh's Reassessment Is Hiring

If you're currently unemployed, Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner wants to help you find a job.

Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner reports that the company doing the town's reassessment, Tyler Technologies, is hiring appraisal trainees.

The job pays $15 an hour and requires good math skills and "spatial ability" to read maps. Additionally, you must have a driver's license, your own car and proof of insurance, among other qualifications.

Feiner announced the news in an email to residents and staff Wednesday. The text of the email - including Tyler's job listing - is below:

Edye McCarthy, assessor for the town, has advised me that the firm we hired to conduct a town wide reassessment is in the process of hiring.  If you are out of work or know people looking who might be interested in this field, please read the following.

If you are out of work and want to be added to my job club (I share job opportunities with those on my list a few times a week--have been doing so for over 5 years) please e mail me.
