Former Yankee Derek Jeter Talks to Business Council About Life After Baseball

The Yankees had just announced the retirement of his number.

TARRYTOWN, NY — Former Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter talked at a Business Council of Westchester event Tuesday in Tarrytown about life after pro-baseball.

The gathering was hours after the Yankees announced the retirement of Jeter’s No. 2 and a plaque would be unveiled in Monument Park in May, according to the Journal News.

Jeter told the crowd that, besides golf and business ventures, his newest dream is to own a team someday.
