Free Admission to "Constellations" to be Performed by The Armonk Players

“Constellations,” the newest event in a ”Simply Theatre” reading series, will be presented free of charge by The Armonk Players at Whippoorwill Hall in Armonk on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 8 p.m. The play, written by Nick Payne and directed by Pia Haas, stars Christine DiBuono and Keith DiBuono. A “yummy” reception and discussion with cast and crew will follow the performance.

Constellations is about the romantic involvement of a man and woman; it delves into the everyday and ethereal aspects of life (the actual and the imaginable). No advance ticket ”sales” are available for this one-time performance.

The performance will be staged at the Whippoorwill Hall auditorium adjacent to The North Castle Public Library in Armonk, N.Y.

The Armonk Players is sponsored by Friends of the North Castle Public Library, Inc., a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise money for purchasing “extras” for The North Castle Public Library and to bring cultural and educational events. Donations will be appreciated at the performance.

Directions to Whippoorwill Hall

• From I-684, take exit 3S (Route 22 south to Armonk).
• Go 3 lights and make a right turn onto Main Street (Route 128). There will be a large flagpole and an “eagle” on the right.
• Go 1/4 mile to the blinking yellow light. There will be a gas station on the left. Bedford Road will be to the right and Kent Place to the left. Make a left turn onto Kent Place.
• Follow Kent Place around to the right. The North Castle Public Library and its Whippoorwill Hall will be on the left.

The next production for the theater group will be “Mothers and Sons,” scheduled for November 13-15, 19-21, 2015.
