Free Stage Performance of "Looking at Christmas" Scheduled for December 16 at Whippoorwill Hall in Armonk
The characters in department-store windows come alive before the eyes of two on-watchers.

Free of charge, The Armonk Players will perform a reading of ”Looking at Christmas” on stage at the Whippoorwill Hall in Armonk on Wednesday, December 16, 2015.
The play is a romantic comedy about a down-on-his-luck writer and a struggling actress who meet while looking at the holiday windows of New York City department stores: Bloomingdale’s, Bergdorf’s, Lord & Taylor’s and Macy’s. The play was written by Steven Banks, Emmy Award-nominated head writer of “SpongeBob Squarepants” and is directed by Pia Haas.
Tom Ammirato, Cait Gallagher, Jean Garner, Angie Joachim, Greg Mangieri, Jeff Rocco, Stephanie Jean Schleicher and Adam Welsh are cast members.

Banks wrote and starred in a one-person play called “Home Entertainment Center” which appeared on Showtime. He also wrote and starred in the national PBS television series “The Steven Banks Show.”
A reception will follow the reading providing audience members an opportunity to voice their opinions about the play in discussion with the actors and director.
