Greenburgh Central School District To Be Celebrated At Mets Game

A portion of the ticket price will go toward scholarships.

RIVERTOWNS, NY — Citi-Field Stadium will be the site Wednesday, May 31 for “Greenburgh Central School District Day,” as the Mets play the Milwaukee Brewers. The game, which begins at 7:10 p.m., was designated by the New York Mets and its affiliates as the day to acknowledge and celebrate the Greenburgh Central School District.

According to an email from Supervisor Paul Feiner, the district’s various student jazz bands will perform before the game and there will be a national public announcement identifying May 31 as “Greenburgh Central School District Day” during the fourth inning.

Superintendent Dr. Tahira DuPree Chase will throw out the first pitch of the game, with Principal Gary Mastrangelo assuming the position of back catcher.
