Greenburgh Distributing Reflective Armbands to Protect Pedestrians at Night
People wearing dark colored clothing can't be easily seen by motorists.

GREENBURGH, NY — The problem was people walking at night wearing dark clothing, and motorists couldn’t see them.
The solution, according to a post from Greenburgh Supervisor Paul Feiner on the town’s website, was reflective armbands that allow pedestrian to be seen.
Feiner said he obtained 75 of the armbands from AAA, but all of those have been distributed.

He said another 75 have been requested and the town will be purchasing more so the police can hand them out to people walking and running wearing dark clothing.
“In the meantime, wear bright clothing when walking during the night or carry a flashlight so cars can see you,” Feiner said.
