Greenburgh Given Highest Moody's Bond Rating
High ratings enable the town to borrow funds at lower rates.

GREENBURGH, NY — The Town of Greenburgh has been rated by Moody’s at the highest rating.
Supervisor Paul Feiner said the town was just given Aaa.
He said that, combined with the town’s Standard & Poor’s AAA rating, the municipality is able to save taxpayers money because of the ability to borrow at better rates.

“The Aaa rating reflects the town’s affluent and sizable tax base, sound financial position with strong fiscal management, low debt profile and manageable pension liability,” Feiner said.
