Greenburgh Holds 1st Recycling Day

A mobile shredder will be on-site for the event, town officials said.

GREENBURGH, NY — The town of Greenburgh will hold its first recycling day, and it will feature a mobile shredder.

Town officials said the event will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Department of Public Works yard, 100 Sprain Rd. in Ardsley.

Residents will be able to shred up to four boxes at the mobile shredder.

Also accepted will be furniture, couches, tables, bed frames, shelves, dressers, carpets, rugs, toasters, microwaves and electronic waste.
