November 4th and November 18th
student landscaping angels program to serve seniors
sign up to volunteer --sign up to get help if you're a senior
During these difficult times when there is so much bad news it is so nice to share some good news. Some students from Edgemont and Ardsley High School are volunteering to assist seniors with landscaping on November 4th and November 18th. They are looking for additional student volunteers and also are accepting requests from seniors who would benefit from this initiative.
The landscape angels program is two years old and was formed by Greenburgh summer interns who wanted to do more to help the community. We are so fortunate to have a caring group of young people who give back and care about others.

Noah
My name is Noah Seifer, I like to run for my school's cross-country team and play tennis. This is my second year leading the Snow/Landscaping Angels. It’s a great program that directly helps the community when it is in need. We are glad to help in any way, from clearing slippery leaves off of walkways in the fall to digging out snowed-in driveways in the winter. If you’re a student thinking about joining, you won't regret it. It's only two days in the fall, and a few snow days in the winter, and your help will be greatly appreciated. This year's dates for landscaping will be November 4th and November 18th.

My name is Joe Siegal and I’ll be helping lead Greenburgh’s Landscaping Angels this fall and Snow Angels this winter. Landscaping Angels and Snow Angels ask high schoolers around our area to help volunteer to assist our senior citizens with their landscaping and snow-related needs. To maximize our efforts, we have targeted two days (November 4th and November 18th) to focus on landscaping. I joined Landscaping/Snow Angels last year. This year, I am excited to step into a more prominent role in the organization. When not helping the community, you can find me on the baseball or football fields, or in the performing arts department of Edgemont High School. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me at josephesiegal@outlook.com!
Joey
My name is Joey Belarge, I am a senior at Ardsley high school, and will be one of the three leaders of the Greenburgh Landscaping and Snow Angels, along with Noah Seifer and Joe Siegel from Edgemont. We will be coordinating with, and finding as many volunteers as possible to help as many senior citizens in our area as possible. Our two main things are leaf cleanups in the fall, and snow removal in the winter, but the angels try to help wherever we can. I joined the program last year, and am very proud to be taking on a leadership role. When I’m not with the angels, riding in the fire truck as a volunteer firefighter in Ardsley, or on the field playing baseball, football, and the court playing basketball. Our two days for landscaping cleanup this year are (November 4th and November 18th) Please with any questions I can be reached at josephbelarge@gmail.com. Thank you!
