Greenburgh Polling Residents About Sanitation Schedule Change
Some in the town only get garbage pickup one day a week when holidays occur on Monday.

GREENBURGH, NY — The Town of Greenburgh is considering altering the sanitation schedule for 2020. Supervisor Paul Feiner said the reason is that some residents complained about the current schedule.
"Residents who live in the south section of town have one less garbage pickup day than residents who live in the northern section of town because most holiday fall on Mondays," he said.
The result is that during the holiday weeks they received only one-day-a-week pickup, Feiner said.

The town's assistant town historians will be coordinating periodic SurveyMonkey polls, the first of which concerns the 2020 sanitation schedule.
Feiner said the poll is live and the public can choose among three answers.
