Greenburgh Supervisor Soliciting Suggestions On Mail Delivery
Some people are missing checks, bills and prescription drugs, and the problem has been going on for a while.

GREENBURGH, NY — Ongoing mail delivery problems in the Town of Greenburgh have prompted Supervisor Paul Feiner to reach out to residents for their suggestions on how to resolve things. “During the past few days I have received many emails and phone calls from angry residents upset with the postal service,” he said. “Residents of Greenburgh have been complaining about the lack of reliable postal services.”
Some residents, Feiner said, get no mail on certain day and others get mail that is addressed to someone else.

“In fairness to the post office, not everyone in town is experiencing problems,” Feiner said. “A few weeks ago I did receive some compliments about postal service employees from different people. But, this week, I received many complaints from people all over town.”
To that end, Feiner wants people to email him with recommendations and he will forward them to congressional representatives and officials at the U.S. Postal Service.

“Speak to your postal service carrier,” Feiner said, and get his or her thoughts.
“We all have the same goal: reliable and dependable mail service. If we brainstorm and come up with good ideas, we might be able to help turn around a postal service that is experiencing major problems,” he said.
“Our goal: not to point fingers but to get results. This is a national problem,” Feiner said.
