Greenburgh Supervisor Wants Athletic Fields Built at $1.2B Complex
The proposed $1.2 billion development would be located in the Town of Mount Pleasant.

The Town of Greenburgh supervisor thinks the developer of a $1.2 billion complex should have to build public athletic fields at the site.
A Greenwich, CT, developer—Fareri Associates—is being considered by Westchester County for a lease on a 60-acre parcel close to Westchester Medical Center, according to an article at lohud.com.
Fareri wants to use the land for the Westchester BioScience & Technology Center.

One wrinkle—there are others, including the length of the lease—in seeing Feiner’s demand come to fruition is the fact that the land is in the Town of Mount Pleasant, not Greenburgh, lohud.com said. The developer said suggestions by Feiner and others would be considered during the environmental review.
