The boys’ team and Coach Chris Arnold claimed its third consecutive Ivy League championship at Saturday’s home game vs. Riverdale. Hackley boys' Lacrosse is undefeated in league play. Stay tuned for updates regarding the NYSAIS tournament beginning Sunday, May 20th.
Hackley JV Baseball
Thriller at King Field!
In a 9 inning see saw battle the Hornets pulled out a very big win (a 9-6 home victory against Riverdale Country School on May 11) to get back on track. Some great pitching in relief by Andrew Stopera and Gabe Pinkus picking up the win.
Hitting stars were Ilan Gressel, Doug Apuche and George Santangelo with some clutch RBI's. Andrew Scherl, Doug Apuche and Milo Lempert teamed up on a great relay play at the plate to keep the game tied in extra-innings.
Softball
Hackley's varsity squad will travel to the Rye Country Day School today at 4:30 p.m.
