Congratulations to Hackley wrestling coach Fran Stanek who recorded his 100th career victory in Hackley's 39-28 triumph against Poly Prep Jan. 18.

Coppola stars for Hackley
Allie Coppola registered 20 points and 13 rebounds in leading Hackley's girls basketball squad to a 46-33 road win against Rye Country Day Jan. 18 to go to 9-0 on the year.
Nia Yancopoulas registered 13 points for Hackley.

Sleepy boys win
The below is from the Sleepy Hollow Athletic Department website:
On Wednesday, January 18th, the Sleepy Hollow varsity boys’ basketball team avenged an early season defeat to Lincoln High School of Yonkers with a convincing 51 – 33 victory.
Trailing 16-13 at halftime, the Horsemen exploded after the break scoring the first 10 points of the half and never looking back.
Harley Falasca poured in 29 points. Dionel Infante and Freddie Bertrand played outstanding defense, and Tommy Fahey and LJ Garrant negated Lincoln’s decided size advantage on the glass.
The Horsemen are home on Friday, January 20th at 4:45 PM against league leading Saunders High School of Yonkers.
