Behind the shut-out pitching of Luke Sweeney (4 2/3 inn.) and Alex Pundyk, the Hornets won their first game on Delmoro Field 4-0 against visiting Masters April 5.

The team bounced back after a tough loss the previous day with a very well played game against Masters. Everything came together with outstanding pitching, great defensive plays and timely hitting.

Sleepy Hollow Tennis

The below was taken from the Sleepy Hollow Athletic department website:

The Sleepy Hollow tennis team had their first match against Ardsley on Monday, April 2nd. All the players played well.

Jason Cai was victorious in the season opener, winning in straight sets. Toby Humm played very well against a very tough opponent but lost in a close match. The doubles tandem of Alex Dopico and Harley Falasca fought back after losing the first set and lost in a nailbiting third set.
