HV Town-by-Town Final Rainfall Report: National Weather Service

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The National Weather Service released final rainfall totals for Tropical Storm Henri, and it's clear most of the Hudson Valley dodged a bullet (think Isaias last year).

We got a lot of rain, as predicted, though, enough to lead to this evacuation warning as local rivers rose. SEE: 'Counting Blessings': Mamaroneck Neighborhood's Tense Night

More than 8 inches of rain fell in Central Park and nearby Passaic County, New Jersey; and the highest rainfall measured in our region was 6.9 inches in Chester, and 6.43 inches in New Rochelle.
