Captain Misled Police in Investigation Into Deadly Boat Crash: Report
The captain of the Realist misled authorities about his girlfriend being aboard, according to a report.

Tarrytown, NY — The fact that a woman was on board a second tugboat as the Specialist crashed and sank in the Hudson River in March was withheld from investigators.
The Journal News has learned from sources that James Morrison, the Realist’s captain, misled Westchester County police about who else was on his boat.
Morrison would not answer the Journal News' questions about whether his girlfriend, Jessica Allega, was on board.

Paul Amon, 63, from Long Island, Timothy Conklin, 29, of New Jersey, and Harry Hernandez, 56, a Staten Island resident, were killed March 12 when the tugboat struck the barge near the Tappan Zee Bridge.
Their families have filed lawsuits against multiple entities because of their deaths.
