According to Hannon's attorney, the complainant expressed wishes to drop the charges and asked the court to consider withdrawing the order of protection previously issued on behalf of the female complainant.

Assistant District Attorney Robert Docherty said he was "deeply concerned" about the woman's "sudden change of heart" and opposed the application.

Village Justice Andres Valdespino said the matter would have to be addressed by the Domestic Violence Bureau before any further decisions are made.

The case was adjourned until August 30.

Warrant Letter Issued in Grand Larceny Case

Judy Gilcrest, 43, is charged with Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree and Grand Larceny in the Third Degree.

Gilcrest did not appear in court today. According to Valdespino, it marked her third missed appearance during this case's proceedings.

A warrant letter was issued for August 23.

Hildalgo Guilty - Will Return to Address Additional Charge, Sentencing

Heyssen Hildalgo, 24, is charged with one count of Disorderly Conduct and one Open Container violation as a result of a May 7 arrest.

He participated in a non-jury trial on July 26, where Justice Valdespino found him guilty of the two charges.

Valdespino indicated some jail time would likely result when Hildalgo returns for sentencing on September 13.

Hildalgo has an additional case in the village pending for one count of Disorderly Conduct that resulted from a July 31 arrest.

Sanchez Appears for Marijuana Possession, Adjourned

Norman Sanchez, 23, was arrested on August 9 for the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

Sanchez has additional cases pending in the village resulting from December 2009 and February 2010 arrests.

"It's hard to keep up with Mr. Sanchez," said Docherty.

Sanchez entered a plea of not guilty and the case was adjourned until August 23, when Sanchez will be back in court for all of his pending charges.

Charges Dropped in Harassment Case

Allison Yvette Legare, 23, did not appear in court to answer to a charge of Harassment in the Second Degree.

The case was scheduled for a non-jury trial, but Docherty indicated the complainant was abroad and would not be able to attend to the matter in the foreseeable future.

The case was therefore dismissed and the order of protection issued for the defendant was vacated.

George Astudillo, 62, is charged with one count of Disorderly Conduct, resulting from a May 31 arrest. Danny Moya, 24, is charged with one count of Disorderly Conduct, resulting from the same May 31 incident. Both are scheduled to appear for a non-jury trial on September 27 at 1:30 p.m.

Tarik Taylor, 26, is charged with Harassment in the Second Degree, resulting from a March 29 arrest. A non-jury trial was scheduled for September 27 at 1:30 p.m., but Docherty said he does not expect the defendant to appear.
