Interim Justice To Be Appointed For Town Of Greenburgh
The appointment will end after an election of a new justice in November.

TARRYTOWN, NY — The Town of Greenburgh will appoint an interim town justice Wednesday to take over due of Walter Rivera’s recent resignation. Supervisor Paul Feiner said former school board trustee, attorney and prosecutor Bonnie Orden has been selected to serve as town justice until an election to fill the seat in November.
Rivera resigned because he was confirmed to become a judge for the New York State Court of Claims effectively immediately.
Orden will be appointed at the Greenburgh town board meeting Wednesday. The interim appointment will expire upon the certification of the Nov. 7 election of town justice by the Westchester Board of Elections.
