Jazz Conversations: Miss Anita O'Day

Listen to and watch in action more of the the greatest Jazz Singers and talk about the art of the jazz vocal, at Greenburgh Public Library

Saturday, July 11, 3:30 p.m.
We will begin on a bright summer day in 1958 at the Newport Jazz Festival when Miss Anita O’Day stepped out on stage and revived her career by dazzling an audience of hipsters with her vocal pyrotechnics and an outfit that was eye-popping.
It is always fun to listen to jazz and see the great ones perform.
Join us in the Small Conference Room at the Greenburgh Public Library for Jazz Conversations with your host, Frank De Ligio.
Call 721-8225 to register.

Event Location: Greenburgh Public Library, 300 Tarrytown Road, Elmsford, NY 10523
