Man Killed In Shooting Suspected Of Robbing 2 Banks

Yonkers police are referring all questions to the FBI.

Police said the man who was killed in a shooting Friday involving an FBI agent and a Yonkers police officer was a suspect in bank robberies in Tarrytown and Greenburgh. Eric Campbell was shot in Yonkers after ramming his car into a police vehicle and died at Montefiore Medical Center.

Authorities said Campbell robbed two Chase bank branches in Tarrytown Nov. 13 a Greenburgh Dec. 7, lohud.com said.

Yonkers police are referring all questions to the FBI.
