movie tomorrow--drive in theaters on Route 119 (office parks)

What do you think about changing the law to allow drive in theaters at the office parks on Route 119 near Tarrytown?

TOMORROW IS MOVIE NIGHT AT AF VETERAN PARK
MOVIE NIGHT AT AF VETERAN PARK ON JULY 18TH
8:30 PM Frozen 2 $20 Raindate: Sunday July 19 YOU CAN PAY AT THE EVENT

What do you think of this idea? Earlier this- spring I met with representatives of two separate companies. They were interested in opening up a drive in theater in Greenburgh. They need a location. One suggestion: changing our laws to allow drive in movie theaters at parking areas in office parks. There are many parking spaces at office buildings on Route 119 (near the Marriott, Sheraton, Stop & Shop--heading to Tarrytown). These parking lots are empty in the evening. Why not allow drive in theaters when the spaces are not used by anyone? Could help the landlords, generate some revenue for other businesses around the area (restaurants, deli's, etc.., maybe help with economic development.
Another thought: If we implement this suggestion- could we have drive in theater, concerts and other arts events. Would welcome your thoughts on the suggestion. pfeiner@greenburghny.com
