New Sleepy Hollow High School Athletic Field to Open Sept. 18

Following some delays, the new high school and elementary school athletic fields are expected to open later this week and next week, according to Tarrytowns school officials.

The school district expected some potential delays and adjusted the fall sports schedules to begin home games after Sept. 18, when the Sleepy Hollow High School field is expected to open.

A similar field at Washington Irving Elementary School field is expected to open about a week later.

The fields cost nearly $10 million to install, writes The Hudson Independent.
