On Tuesday, May 1st the modified lacrosse team lined up against Edgemont at home. Our boys protected their undefeated home streak to make them 3-0 in Sleepy Hollow. We started the game down 3-1 but with a furious offensive possession the Horsemen went into the half only down one.

Our boys played great at home behind Isaac Newland’s four goal effort. Kasper Endreny and Jack Weitzner each added one goal and one assist. The score was 5-3 in the third before Edgemont finished two quick goals to tie it all up at five.

Isaac Newland would finish scoring for the day on his fourth in dramatic fashion. Dimitre Ridley would record 9 saves on another great day in goal while Kasper Endreny would step in goal in the fifth to make two saves of his own.

Tuesday’s standouts were Ben McCoy, Harry Bogusz, Mike Lopez, and Josef May. The boys in red suit up on Thursday May, 3rd away against Scarsdale. GO HOLLOW!!

Softball Wins Two

The modified softball team remains “one defeated” with victories over both Tuckahoe on Friday, April 27th (18-9) and Woodlands on Monday, April 30th (22-0). Heather Colley pitched for the wins.

Josephine Galeotafiore, Hannah McCarthy, and Gaby Chebetar enjoyed hits in both games. Go Sleepy Hollow!

At Nyack on April 25th, Concordia split their double headers, winning the first, 4-1 and then dropping the second, 3-2. Yonatan Rodriguez (Sleepy Hollow '07) batted 2-3, knocking in both of his nine's runs and had 1 error on the day.
