office hours at Town Hall every Tuesday for hispanic community

Maria Portilla has been appointed liaison to the Hispanic community in my office. She was interviewed on WVOX radio for a half hour and discusses her Tuesday hours at Town Hall and her outreach efforts. She also discusses her inspiring life –her degrees in Peru, coming to the United States, working as a Nanny and holding low paying jobs before continuing her education and become a successful social worker. Maria has made a positive difference in the lives of many and we’re delighted that she will continue to help immigrants and those who need to take advantage of her talents. Link to the radio program is below: Maria is volunteering her time to help others. She is a great inspiration. We thank her for her desire to help the less fortunate. Greenburgh is one of the few communities in our region that now has this kind of service for the spanish speaking population - a growing population in town.

WE ARE OPEN EVERY TUESDAY FROM 12:00 TO 5:00PM TO OFFER INFORMATION REGARDING IMIGRATION, HOUSING, LEGAL SERVICES, CITIZENSHIP, FOOD PANTRY, JOBS, RENTAL, CLOTHING ETC.
WE ALSO OFFER EDUCATION IN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, MENTAL HEALTH, PARENTING, HUMAN RIGHTS ETC.
