Paws Crossed Shelter Holds Grand Opening
The new facility is at the site of a former animal shelter.

ELMSFORD, NY — The new shelter for Paws Crossed Animal Rescue Inc. held its grand reopening Saturday in Elmsford.
The new facility is at the site of the former Pets Alive shelter which closed in July 2015 due to structural problems at the building.
The celebration included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, doggie fashion show and other activities.

The Journal News said the no-kill shelter has 46,000 square feet, with about 150 kennels for dogs, a cat room and a veterinarian room.
