Three physicians from Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow were among seven honored recently at the first annual "Doctors of Distinction" event, held at the Bristal assisted living facility in White Plains. The Phelps honorees were Sr. VP of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Lawrence L. Faltz of Larchmont, for Leadership in Medical Advocacy; Chief of General Surgery Dr. Robert Raniolo of Yorktown Heights, for Community Service; and Chief of Thoracic Surgery Dr. Avraham Merav of Pleasantville, for Lifetime Achievement. The event was co-sponsored by Citrin Cooperman, Westchester County Medical Society, and Westfair Communications.
