Pocantico Hills School District Launches Mobile App

Community members can download the app to keep up with the latest news from Pocantico.

The latest news and information from the Pocantico Hills Central School District are now available on smartphones and mobile devices with a new mobile app.

Pocantico is partnering with Blackboard to expand its communications outreach with the free app, which is available in the online iTunes and Google Play app stores.

“We encourage all community members to download the app and stay connected with our district and the events and activities taking place every day,” Superintendent Carol Conklin-Spillane said.

The app offers a constantly updated feed of Pocantico Hills news and events, with photos and links to the district’s website. It is a great way to stay up to date on important notifications, student news, events on the school calendar and daily menus. Through the app, parents can report absences or changes in transportation for students. They can receive push notifications to get breaking news, updates about school closures and calendar changes.

Parents and community members can also find email links to school administrators and departments on the app, as well as important publications and resources. Users can access the app for information on the pool and Pocantico Hills Day Camp.
