“It is our hope that with this event, Posh Pets Rescue will become a more well known, household name when people think of rescue groups,” said organizers in a statement. As many as 40 cats may be available for adoption Saturday at the Greenburgh event.

According to Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner, Hartsdale resident Courtney Massena is a Posh Pets Rescue volunteer who has been involved in organizing the Aug. 15 event.
