Possible Lightning Strike Injures 5
An intense, but brief, thunderstorm moved through the Hudson Valley.
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — An intense thunderstorm moved through the City of Poughkeepsie Friday afternoon and a possible lightning strike injured five people at Mansion Square Park.
Mayor Rob Rolison told the Poughkeepsie Journal that three individuals were unresponsive at the scene and two people had less-severe injuries.
The City of Poughkeepsie Police Department has asked witnesses to call 845-451-7577.
