Putnam Man Accused Of Endangering Children's Welfare
Police said the man had children wear a woman's high-heel shoes while he filmed them with his phone during private music lessons.
GREENBURGH, NY — A Putnam County man was accused of endangering two children's welfare while giving them music lessons.
The Greenburgh Police Department Special Victims Unit said Stanley Indig, 67, of Brewster, was arrested and charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, misdemeanors.
Police said the special victims unit was contacted July 20 by a town resident who hired Indig, a music teacher, to give in-home, private lessons to his daughters.

During the course of the lessons, police said Indig had the children wear and pose in a woman's high-heel shoes as he recorded them with his cell phone.
He was arrested after an investigation by the special victims unit, along with the assistance of the Special Prosecutions Division of the Office of the Westchester County District Attorney.

Indig was arraigned in the Greenburgh Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
Greenburgh's special victims unit and the district attorney's office are conducting an ongoing joint investigation into Indig's activities, police said.
