Regeneron Volunteers Spend a Day Doing Good at John Paulding

Partnering with The United Way, Regeneron employees took part in a "Day for Doing Good," a company-wide initiative aimed at improving the world around them. Since 2017, the Tarrytown-based has been “doing good,” reflecting Regeneron's long-standing commitment to its local communities and culture of volunteerism.

“Every year, our colleagues unite to promote positive social change and give back to our communities. Our annual Day for Doing Good epitomizes our philosophy of ‘doing well by doing good,’ and each initiative we undertake is devoted to nurturing prosperity where we live and work. We know that by investing time in the well-being of our communities, we are also investing in a brighter, healthier future for all," said Leonard S. The annual event brought more than a dozen volunteers to John Paulding School on October 24, 2023 to install a Born Learning Trail for all to enjoy. The Born Learning Trail is a series of 10 interactive signs, which are written in English and Spanish. They offer fun, active learning activities for children with the goal of providing families quality time when out on a stroll or visiting a local playground together.

“We are thankful to these two community partners for giving back to our school community,” said Dr. Audrey Brutus, Supervisor of Social Emotional Learning and Community Engagement at the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns. “This will support our English and Spanish-speaking families with encouraging educational conversations and social-emotional interactions. Our children benefit from having nurturing and meaningful interactions with their families, promoting overall developmental and social-emotional health. A win for all.”
