Retired NBA Executive Joel Litvin to Guest on Local Radio Show
The 27-year veteran from the basketball league's front office will be interviewed on WVOX 1460AM.

Joel Litvin, the former National Basketball Association President of League Operations, will be the guest this week on Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner’s radio show on WVOX 1460AM.
The program will be broadcast on Friday, Dec. 18, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. It also can be heard on the station’s website, and if listeners have any questions for Litvin and Feiner, they can call into the show at 914-636-0110.
Litvin, an attorney who was with the NBA for 27 years, retired from his position earlier this year. He resides in Greenburgh.

Among Litvin’s accomplishments, he was instrumental in developing the league’s revenue sharing plans, which were adopted most recently in the 2011 Collective Bargaining Agreement, according to the league.
“Joel has been central to the NBA’s operations and growth for more than a quarter of a century,” said NBA Commissioner Adam Silver in a statement when Litvin announced his retirement. “We are deeply grateful for his exceptional efforts and accomplishments throughout his distinguished NBA career and we’ll really miss him.”

Added former NBA Commissioner David Stern, “I worked with Joel on a daily basis for 25 years and witnessed his extraordinary contributions to the success and growth of the NBA during a pivotal time in league history. Joel brought innovation and insight to a broad range of legal, business and basketball matters over the course of his career that established him as one of the most respected executives in the sports industry.”
