Schenectady Men Arrested in Greenburgh on Drug Charges

The driver of the vehicle was allegedly impaired by drugs.

Two men from Schenectady were arrested in the Town of Greenburgh for having cocaine Feb. 4.

State police said that during a stop for speeding on I-87 around 8:05 p.m., the driver—Jose M. Fuentes, 38—was allegedly impaired by drugs.

Both Fuentes and his passenger, Corrie E. Sistrunk, 38, were found to have cocaine in their possession.

They were taken to the Tarrytown barracks and processed.

Fuentes agreed to blood test to determine what drug was in his system.

Both men were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, both felonies.

Additionally, Fuentes was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, and multiple vehicle and traffic violations.

They were arraigned before the Town of Greenburgh Court and sent to the Westchester County Jail without bail.
