I recently learned of a scholarship that residents who are pursuing graduate studies in social work or public health might be interested in applying for. Average scholarships have been $3,000 and have gone as high as $7,000. For more information please contact dperez@uwwp.org. I also have copies of applications. Another scholarship opportunity in the beginning stages ---the Elmsford Rotary Club has started a Kevin Morgan Scholarship Fund in honor of the Greenburgh Councilman and Rotarian who passed away recently. All proceeds will go towards students in the Greenburgh community.
