Season-Ending Free Sunset Concert at Lyndhurst in Tarrytown Offers Jazz Rain or Shine

The estate grounds open and food service begins at 5 p.m. Music starts at 6:30 p.m.

The concluding performance in the free Lyndhurst Sunset Jazz Concert series will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2015. The Lyndhurst estate in Tarrytown is the former home of railroad builder and baron Jay Gould.

The Gene Peria Quartet and Viktorija Gečytė will perform. Since 2010, the music presented during this twilight, free-admission series has been under the direction of Mark Morganelli, Founder and Executive Director of Jazz Forum Arts, headquartered in Tarrytown.

Food can be purchased on site and a $10 parking fee applies for this event. If inclement weather, the concert will be moved from the West Lawn to the Carriage House courtyard. Attendees are advised to bring blankets or low-profile lawn chairs.
