Showers, Thunderstorms in Forecast for Hudson Valley Friday

Then cooler temperatures will arrive for Saturday and Sunday.

Summer-like temps go away for the weekend, so enjoy Friday while you can.

There is also the chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms tonight, followed by isolated showers, in the lower Hudson Valley.

For Dutchess and Ulster counties, there is the possibility of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, with a slightly increased chance of the same at night.

The big difference will be a double-digit temperature drop from Friday’s high compared to Saturday’s.

According to the National Weather Service, the high for Friday is forecast to be 13 degrees cooler Saturday for White Plains—going from 84 to 71.

What about Sunday, you ask? The forecast high temperature is 66.

So with the weather gradually clearing over the region, it sounds like this weekend will have our first real fall-like days.
