Making their annual pilgrimage north, trustees will gather Dec. 4 at Kendal on Hudson to conduct their regularly scheduled work session. Public comments are welcome, Mayor Ken Wray made clear.
“We ordinarily do not have them at a work session,” he said, “but we invite them [at this meeting].” Located at 1010 Kendal Way, Kendal on Hudson is a not-for-profit assisted living facility on the Hudson River shoreline.
“Look forward to seeing you all there,” the mayor said. He'd made a point of the meeting’s 7:30 start time, a departure from both the usual 7 o’clock beginning as well as the time posted on the village website.
Holiday parking
The board voted Tuesday to suspend metered parking in the village for two weeks, Dec. 17 to Jan. 2, when holiday bags will cover the devices.
