Beth Davidson’s campaign for Congress in New York’s 17th District has been endorsed by
Daphne Uviller, chair of the Sleepy Hollow Democratic Committee, boosting her leading position in the Democratic primary race against Republican Rep. Mike Lawler.

"Beth Davidson has every quality it takes to both win this election and be a successful, effective congresswoman, said Uviller. "As a Rockland County legislator, she has a track record of working across the aisle to deliver for her constituents from lowering taxes to passing gun safety legislation and she has built deep and far ranging relationships across all of NY 17 through her tireless passionate coalition building. And most important? Beth Davidson knows our MAGA opponent well, and she can beat him in November. I am thrilled to support Beth Davidson for Congress," Uviller adds.

"The Sleepy Hollow Dems punched away above their weight in 2025 and not only elected their own Village slate but helped make Joe Bonanno Mt. Pleasant's newest Town Board member," said Beth Davidson. "I'm so grateful for Daphne's support and I can't wait to work together to win up and down the ballot"!

With endorsements by over 250 leaders across the district and the Rockland County Democratic Party, this latest endorsement demonstrates continued regional momentum for Davidson's battleground seat Congressional campaign. Davidson, the only Democratic candidate in the NY-17 congressional race who has won previous election campaigns against Republicans and holds public legislative office, is currently an elected Rockland County Legislator and former Nyack School Board Vice President. A thyroid cancer survivor, she and her husband, Jeff moved to Nyack 20 years ago, where they are raising their two children, both of whom attend public school.
