Sleepy Hollow Football Club Eagles Land Top County Team Honor

The Westchester Youth Soccer League awards banquet was Tuesday and the Sleepy Hollow Football Club was well represented. The under age 9 boys Warriors, under age 12 girls Mustangs, and under age 14 girls Eagles won their divisions. The under age 9 girls Magic won the sportsmanship award for their division as did the under age 14 girls Eagles. The Eagles were given the “double gold” for winning their division and sportsmanship award. The Eagles coach Paul Jeris was also a finalist for coach of the year. Finally the Eagles won the top team award for the county the “Sporting Team Award.” Only two out of 700 teams won this award. The club offers congratulations to coaches Paul Jeris and Howard Allen and their Eagles for this huge accomplishment.
