Sleepy Hollow Girls Defeat Solomon Schecter in Volleyball Season Opener

The Lady Horsemen swept the Lions of Solomon Schecter 3-0 in the first girls varsity volleyball game of the season at Sleepy Hollow High School on Sept. 8, 2011.

The Lady Horsemen swept the Lions of Solomon Schecter 3-0 in the first girls varsity volleyball game of the season at Sleepy Hollow High School on Sept. 8, 2011. Sleepy Hollow dominated all three matches with scores of 25-13, 25-9, and 25-6 respectively. "It's our first game. We have a lot of young talent," said head coach Leana Peltier, crediting several sophomores for their contributions to the victory, including tenth-grader Jessica Tucci. "We rise and fall with our setters, and the seniors did fantastic, too."
