Sleepy Hollow HS Seeking Science Mentors

Mentors are needed in such categories as chemistry, medicine, biology, engineering, psychology and environmental studies.

TARRYTOWN, NY — Sleepy Hollow High School science students are looking for mentors for their Science Research program. In a Facebook post, the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns said it is seeking mentors throughout Westchester and New York City to assist students who are interested in fields including chemistry, medicine, biology, engineering, psychology and environmental studies.

Michele Zielinski, Science Research co-director, said, "The continued success of the program depends upon the community sharing their talents and expertise with the students.

"We hope to find mentors who can work with them and provide them with additional support," she said.
