It seems like a no-brainer for the place the Headless Horseman comes from.
SLEEPY HOLLOW, NY — This probably comes as no surprise to people who know Sleepy Hollow, but it really is the place to visit for Halloween. Now the community has been recognized as one of “The 10 Best Small Towns to Visit This Halloween” by the website delish.com.

Mattern gives a call out to Van Cortlandt Manor, which is the site of the annual Great Jack-‘O-Lantern Blaze, as well as Lyndhurst Castle and Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
