Boys Lacrosse

On Thursday, April 26th the modified boys’ lacrosse team traveled to White Plains Middle School to take on the Tigers at their home field. The game would have a quick start with a quick 1-1 score as the Horsemen matched White Plains’ first goal of the day.

The rain didn’t stop the game and would never put a stop to scoring. The first half would end with the red and white behind 7-4. Harry Bogusz would retain possession for our boys at the faceoff X and we scored the first of the half on a Kasper Endreny goal.

However, that would be the end of the Horsemen scores in the third stanza. White Plains would go on to make the score 10-5 to start the last quarter of play. Behind Jacob Smith and a furious midfield attack the Horsemen would stage a comeback, scoring three goals to make it 10-8.

Dimitre Ridley would play his best game of the season on a day where shooters were at every position on the field. He made a career high 17 stops. The modified boys held possession for three of the last five minutes of the game with multiple shots on goal but none would fall.
