"South Pacific" is the New Year's Eve Attraction at Westchester Broadway Theatre
The festivities begin at 6 p.m. and eight hours of merriment follow including dinner, show, dancing and midnight champagne toast.

New Year’s Eve bows in at the Westchester Broadway Theatre (dinner theater) in Elmsford on December 31, 2014 with eight hours of food, drink, and live entertainment. The curtain rises for a performance of ”South Pacific” at 7 p.m.
The gala affair includes an open bar for the entire evening (from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.), hot and cold hors d’oeuvres buffet, and dancing to the music of the Tuxedo Parc Orchestra. Celebrants will greet midnight with noise makers and a champagne toast.
The Rodgers and Hammerstein’s musical is set on an island military base during World War II; it involves a dangerous spy mission and relates two love stories occurring amidst the perils of prejudice and war. The original 1949 play captured ten Tony Awards and was followed by a movie version in 1958.
