Girls Varsity Basketball, January 19
The Sleepy Hollow varsity girls basketball team had a strong second half that helped the Lady Horsemen upend the Solomon Schechter Lions by a score of 51-35.
Brionna Gamble led the balanced scoring attack for the Horsemen with 16 points. Tauress Campbell added 14, Jamie Bucci had 12 and Kerry Oliveira chipped in 9.

The big defensive turnaround of the second half was led by Barbara Good who was the defensive player of the game.
The girls' overall record is now 7-5 and is 3-2 in league play. The next game is at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21, against Hastings at the Jack McCreery Gymnasium at Sleepy Hollow.

Boys JV Basketball, January 19
On Tuesday the Horsemen JV boys improved their record to 11-0, defeating a solid Solomon Schecter team.
Contributions were made from the entire team. Harley Falasca scored a game high of 24 points. Freddie Bertrand added 10 points and Ronnie Rodriguez added 14 points in the team effort. The Horsemen look to continue their streak against a fast Hastings team this Thursday at Hastings.
Sleepy Hollow/Irvington Hockey, January 16
The Sleepy Hollow/Irvington Legends ice hockey team continued their great season with an 8-2 win over Ossining on Saturday night.
Sleepy Hollow Junior John Garro had an outstanding game with 2 goals and 2 assists. Sophomore Kyle McGovern also had a great game with 1 assist.
Sleepy Hollow Wrestling, January 16
On Saturday, Sleepy Hollow's wrestling team attended the annual Yonkers Tournament at Yonkers High School. Attending the tournament were many strong teams, including the top ranked team in the state, John Glenn.
Sleepy Hollow started the tournament off well, having most of the team reach the semifinals, but in the semis the Horsemen had difficulty.
John Glenn managed to knock all of Hollow's wrestlers out in the semifinals. The best finish that the Horsemen had was by Pete Delmonaco and Edison Tenesaca who both finished third.
Boys Varsity Basketball, January 15
The Boys Basketball Team improved its record to 9-3 with an exciting 47-44 road victory over Irvington High School on January 15th.
Jonathan Martin led the Horsemen with 16 points, Justin Best added 12 and Jorge Berenguer contributed 9.
The standing-room-only crowd was treated to a fine performance by both teams. The Horsemen showed great resiliency down the stretch, finishing the game on a 6-0 run.
The Horsemen also beat Solomon Schecter School on Tuesday, Jan. 19, to improve their record to 10-3.
Girls Varsity Basketball, January 15
The girls' basketball team ran into the Irvington Bulldogs on last Friday and suffered a defeat by a score of 43-25. Irvington is currently ranked third in the State and has a record of 11-1.
Brionna Gamble led all scorers in the game with 13 points.
Boys JV Basketball, January 15
Last Friday, the JV Horsemen defeated Irvington 63-44.
The Horsemen were led by Harley Falasca with 17 points and Ronnie Rodriguez with 16 points. Christian Berenguer added 9 points and several assists.
