Spots Still Remain for Vendors at Sleepy Hollow's Annual Street Fair

The fair will be held on Beekman Avenue on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sleepy Hollow’s 19th Annual Street Fair has a few spaces available for merchants or exhibitors. The fair will take place, rain or shine, on Beekman Avenue in Sleepy Hollow on Saturday, October 17, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Applications for vendor space will be accepted up to September 10 without a late fee penalty.

Attendance is free for visitors. The street will reopen to traffic at 6 p.m.

The festivities will include stands offering merchandise such as jewelry, clothing and gifts, food vendors, entertainment, live music, fire house’s ribs, and a Kid’s Carnival. Space rental costs follow:

  • The cost for space rental for a non-chamber-of-commerce member is $125 (retail sales) or $220 (food service). The space is approximately 10 by 10 foot in size.
  • The chamber member cost is $75 for providers of retail merchandise or information and $125 (food service) for a space 10 by 10 foot in size (approximate dimensions).
  • Non-profit organizations can apply for a 5 by 5 foot space for $35.

All applications received after September 10 will be subject to a $35 late fee.

Setup begins at 9:30 a.m. Tables, tents, electrical power and reserved parking are not provided. Vendors are required to secure tents with weights in case of wind. Permission needs to be applied for if use of a power generator is planned by a vendor. Additional terms, conditions and details appear on the application form.

The fair is conducted by the Greater Sleepy Hollow Tarrytown Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by the Village of Sleepy Hollow.

Participating sponsors include the new Dave & Buster’s restaurant and game complex in Pelham Manor, Bright View Assisted Living in Tarrytown, 1230 News and Talk Westchester Radio, 94.3 WFAS (Today’s Hits and Yesterday’s Favorites), and the regional monthly newspaper The Hudson Independent.
