"Although the state is repaving Hillside, Saw Mill River Road in Ardsley, parts of Dobbs Ferry Road, it's not adequate," he said. "Most of the roads owned by NYS in Greenburgh are in very bad shape."

Feiner said that, while the town appreciates the repaving of the three roads, much more has to be done.

He said he will also ask the state to appropriate funds for pedestrian safety initiatives on state roads.

"We have had pedestrian accidents on NYS roads," Feiner said. "Crosswalks need to be made safe. And NYS needs funds to build more sidewalks on NYS owned roads."

County Executive George Latimer will be speaking around 10 a.m., his office said.

Greenburgh Town Hall is at 177 Hillside Avenue.
