Stranger Tries to Lure Sleepy Hollow Student into Car Friday

Sleepy Hollow police are looking for a woman who approached a female student Friday and asked if she wanted a ride to school.

The incident happened around 8:15 a.m. in the area of 357 North Broadway—Route 9, Global Gas Station.

The student didn’t know the woman, who identified herself as a nurse and was persistent about the offer.

After the student refused, the woman drove off.

She was described as a white female, about 55 years old, with long, blond hair.

The car is a four-door silver sedan, possibly a Honda.
